Shooting video for song "Molysia Na Mene"
was held on December, 27-28 2008 in Lviv.
The main feature of weather during this period was humid and frosty air, a temperature
varied within the -10 Celcius.
It was a biggest challenge for us on the filming sets
The main priority of video clip was a visual
presentation of members of rockband for audience. No
showing off, no glam, a minimum of special effects. Realistic in a picture and music
were all over.
Director Yuri Dobrus and director of photography Volodymyr "Frenchman" Kurylo were invited to create a video clip
Old part of city near Rynok Square was
choose as one of location for filmmaking. Frost was
troubling so much and desplite liter of coffee had been
drunk, eyes were weeping and hands were trembling, that's why
the actors had to be in proper visual shape.
This has been successfully handled by stylist Volodymyr Kulbatskyy.
You can note how sweetly Slavko Shved warming his face under an
incandescent lighting on the background of next picture
Good friend of rockband Tanya Nazaruk
became the lyric heroine of video clip
After filmmaking in Old Lviv crew continued
to work in the closed apartment which in that day held
almost no different temperature as outdoors.
However it was order to continue and participants
withstand a frost and cold patiently.
Look how warmly dressed guys at the following picture and
imagine how it was hard for Tanya to play
Although it was coldly for guys too – that's why in a rehearsal
studio crew worked with three breaks.
Yes, yes, again litres of coffee!
A budget of a video clip was a bit poor, filmmaking were funded
by members of rockband.
On the eve of release of first plate Opium shown
themselves as they are – without any decorations
and unnecessary glam. We hope two sleepless nights and the perseverance
of crew meet your expectations because this movie is a high-quality, beauty and
easy-feeling picture of no less powerful song, to prove once again that Music is the Hardest Drug
P.S. Thanks to God, nobody got sick and overdosed by caffeine
at the time of filming process :-)
P.S.S. Thanks to everyone who helped us during filmmaking!
